Welcome to Passion for Paws. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of any products from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
“Company”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Passion for Paws.
“You” and “your” refer to the customer.
2. Eligibility & Age Requirements
You must be 16 years of age or older to place an order through this website.
By purchasing from us, you confirm that:
You are at least 16 years old,
You have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
We cannot practically verify age and are entitled to rely on your confirmation.
3. Products
We sell:
Natural dog treats (e.g., chicken feet, beef gullet, fish skins)
Pet accessories (e.g., silicone treat pouches, extendable leads)
All ingredients for treats are listed on individual product pages.
Natural products may vary in:
colour,
size,
thickness,
weight,
shape.
These natural variations do not constitute defects.
We do not offer custom items or subscription services.
4. Health, Safety & Veterinary Disclaimer
By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and agree that:
4.1 Supervision
Dogs must always be supervised when consuming treats or using accessories.
4.2 Storage
Treats must be stored:
in a cool, dry place,
out of sunlight,
sealed to maintain freshness.
We are not responsible for spoilage caused by improper storage.
4.3 Suitability of Treats
Every dog is different. It is the customer's responsibility to assess suitability, considering:
age,
breed,
chewing behaviour,
dental condition,
dietary needs,
allergies.
Consult a veterinarian before offering new treats, especially to:
puppies,
senior dogs,
dogs with medical conditions.
4.4 Choking & Chewing Risks
All natural treats carry inherent risks, including:
choking,
splintering,
swallowing large pieces.
We accept no liability arising from chewing incidents or misuse.
5. Allergens & Sensitivities
We disclose ingredients on each product page.
Customers must check ingredients before purchasing.
We are not liable for:
allergic reactions,
sensitivities,
stomach upset,
adverse health effects,
reactions due to known or unknown conditions.
Ownership and responsibility transfer to the purchaser upon delivery.
6. Pricing & Payment
We accept:

Google Pay
Debit/credit cards
All prices are in GBP (£).
Prices may change without notice but will not affect orders already placed.
7. Orders, Processing & Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed due to fast processing times and the sale of perishable goods.
We reserve the right to cancel orders if:
items are unavailable,
payment is not authorised,
fraudulent activity is suspected.
8. Shipping & Delivery
8.1 Delivery Service
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only using Yodel or a comparable courier.
8.2 Delivery Timeframe
Standard delivery: 2–5 business days
Delays may occur due to courier issues or circumstances outside our control.
8.3 Transfer of Risk
Risk transfers to the customer when:
the parcel is delivered to the provided address,
or confirmed as delivered by the courier (proof-of-delivery, GPS scan, or photograph).
We cannot be held liable for:
missed deliveries,
parcels stolen after delivery,
delays caused by the courier.
8.4 Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel is lost or arrives damaged:

We will assist in raising a claim with the courier.
9. Returns & Refunds
We comply with UK consumer law.
9.1 Returns – Natural Treats (Perishable Goods)
Due to hygiene and safety:
Opened or used treats cannot be returned.
Unopened items may be returned within the statutory period.
9.2 Returns – Accessories
Accessories must be unused and in original packaging.
9.3 Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return postage unless:
the item arrives faulty,
or the wrong item was sent.
A more detailed Refund & Returns Policy can be added separately if desired.
10. Product Accuracy & Website Information
We aim to provide accurate descriptions and photographs. However:
natural treats may vary in appearance,
measurements may be approximate,
weights may fluctuate due to moisture content.
We are not responsible for:
typographical errors,
display errors,
platform-related issues (e.g., Wix outages or formatting issues).
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property on the website is owned by or licensed to Passion for Paws, including:
branding,
product descriptions,
product bundles,
website layout,
logos,
graphics,
product images,
text and content.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
This protection applies even if product items themselves are sourced from wholesalers.
12. Website Use & Conduct
You agree not to:
use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes,
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website,
scrape content or copy product listings,
interfere with website performance or security.
We cannot guarantee the site will function error-free or without interruptions.

misuse or inappropriate storage of treats,
injuries from chewing or swallowing,
accessories used incorrectly,

courier delays or delivery issues,
website errors or downtime,
loss of data not caused by our direct negligence.
These Terms do not exclude liability for fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including:
postal strikes,
courier disruptions,
severe weather,
supply shortages,
power failures,
pandemics,
IT failures.
